The Shed Project

Home|The Shed Project

The Shed Project is a welcoming space where men can come together, build friendships, and find support in a relaxed and practical environment.

As part of the vision of Portgordon Community Church, The Shed exists to encourage men who may be facing different challenges in life by giving them a place to connect with others, keep busy, and know that they do not have to carry things on their own.

For some, The Shed is a place to get involved in practical work and shared projects. For others, it is somewhere to focus on their own ideas, enjoy meaningful conversation, or simply sit down with a coffee in good company. Whatever brings someone through the door, the heart behind The Shed is simple: to create a supportive, friendly space where men can feel welcome, valued, and understood.

There is something powerful about working alongside others, chatting while getting things done, and building community in an informal way. The Shed is about more than activities — it is about connection, encouragement, and giving men a place where they can be themselves.

We are open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:30am to 12 noon. Whether you want to get involved in practical work, bring along a project of your own, or just pop in for a coffee and a chat, you will be made very welcome.
