Our Story
We are a church in the community and serving the Community is at the heart of our Church. Our Church is a family with family being at the centre of our hearts. We seek to share the good news of Jesus with those who get in contact with us and with those who don’t. We are a nondenominational Church that welcomes everyone.
Purpose and beliefs
Your mess is God’s mess
If you think your life is a mess with no hope we believe that Jesus can take that mess and give you hope
Future renewed.
If you think your life can’t get any worse and there is no hope for the future then this is where we believe God steps in and restarts your life with a purpose for your future.
Get connected
We are never meant to be disconnected to each other or God – this is a place where you get get reconnected.
Beliefs
God
God is a creator and God is three in one – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In Genesis 1 it says God is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscience. God is everlasting to everlasting.
Jesus
Jesus is the son of God and He is the way, the truth and the life. God became man in the form of Jesus who died, rose again and ascended to God the father. Through Jesus our sins can be forgiven and we can receive the gift of eternal life
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity who Christ left when he ascended to heaven. The Spirit is the comforter, who dwells in every believer and is present in the world.
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ made up of those who are part of localised community. It is empowered by the Spirit to “be” Jesus to the online community.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God that feeds, waters and gives life and direction to live our lives as followers of Jesus.
Baptism
We believe in the need for adult baptism – it is an outward expression of an inward belief. Acts 2 :38 – Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
You
You don’t need to believe before you belong, you can belong before you believe and feel connected to a family which will support you in your walk in this life. You will feel valued no matter who you are.
